Network Sharing

Redbook Assist allows practices to share comparable evidence through a cross-practice network. This helps build stronger evidence bases, particularly in areas with limited transaction activity.

How it works

  • When you add a comparable, you can mark it as Available to network
  • Other Redbook Assist practices in your area can search the shared network
  • Shared comparables show the source practice and transaction details
  • Each practice controls which of their comparables are shared

Privacy and control

  • Sharing is opt-in per comparable — nothing is shared by default
  • You can revoke sharing at any time
  • Client-specific notes and adjustment details are never shared — only core transaction data
  • The sharing practice is identified so you can contact them for further details

Searching network comparables

On the Comparables page, toggle the Include Network option when searching. Network comparables appear with a distinct badge so you can distinguish them from your own evidence.

Benefits

  • Access a wider pool of evidence in your local market
  • Verify your own evidence against transactions recorded by other firms
  • Particularly valuable for unusual property types or thin markets
  • Supports RICS guidance on maximising available evidence
